I believe we must say yes to situations that are uncomfortable. Truly living as a Catholic in today’s society can be pretty uncomfortable, but I believe we can learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable, and maybe that is truly how God created us to be.

As a woman in business, it’s easy to know that professional development is important, but hard to make the time to think through the options, much less register and attend. How do you know that time will be well spent and fruitful?

A couple of summers ago, my husband and I loaded our bags into the car’s trunk, mounted our road bicycles on the roof, and headed out for a road trip. Little did I know that it would be a memorable experience that taught me the importance of perseverance.
